Marketing Assistant (2-month Temporary Contract)

Buy1GIVE1 (B1G1 - www.b1g1.com) is a Social Enterprise which runs an innovative global giving initiative from Singapore. We are seeking a team member who can dedicate heart and soul to promoting and spreading the concept globally by assisting our marketing and communication activities in a small yet very dynamic team environment.

The role involves the following activities:

  • marketing strategy development (working directly with the marketing director and other stakeholders)
  • support the planning and execution of effective digital marketing & PR activities
  • designing marketing campaigns and collaterals
  • improving effectiveness of social media and website through data analysis
  • creating and managing social media activities and campaigns
  • sourcing new PR opportunities
  • identifying opportunities for strategic alliances and partnerships
  • creating and improving processes and guidelines for the ongoing marketing activities
  • evaluating and analysing our website statistics and communication effectiveness for continuous improvements

Skills & Experiences:

  • Business Management, Marketing, or Communications work experience
  • Experienced and competent with Keynote/PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Social Media tools
  • Fast-learner of new tools and systems
  • Highly competent with Mac operating system

Additional experiences and skills which are highly valued:

  • in-depth knowledge of social media tools, SEO and other web-based tools and resources
  • experience with Infusionsoft CRM and/or other marketing automation software
  • Adobe design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver etc.)
  • experience with web design (HTML, PHP, HTML 5 etc.) and video editing

You’ll be working in a small team with dynamic and creative individuals, so you’ll need to be as innovative, dedicated and independent in order to perform in this role effectively.

Starting Salary Range: $2,000-3,000 (negotiable) depending on the skills, experience and qualifications you have.

Location of Work: Near One North Station (West)

General Work Schedule: M-F (9am-6pm - adjustable).

Commitment of 2 months from start September to end October
