Content Acquisition Manager

Responsibilities

  • Understand the top things to do, landscape, and uniqueness of designated travel destinations
  • Source and contact suppliers offering tours, activities, attractions, transfer services, etc. in designated destinations
  • Negotiate the initial purchase condition including rates, availability, operating procedure, offers, overrides, cancellation policy, payment process, and more with new or existing suppliers with a win-win strategy for both parties
  • Educate suppliers on the booking process of BeMyGuest, as well as the extranet dashboard, with the objective of building long-time partnership
  • Understand and analyse the booking trend and margin, maximise business opportunities for suppliers, and optimise revenue for BeMyGuest
  • Conduct tour/product inspections from time to time to ensure that suppliers are providing the right and high-quality travel services for BeMyGuest's distribution partners
  • Conduct presentations and organise meetups for existing and potential suppliers
  • Achieve targets and KPI as defined by contracting team
  • Continuously monitor competitiveness to offer the best rates and products based on the demands of distribution partners, and negotiate solutions with suppliers

Requirements

  • At least three (3) years working experience, with relevant experience in Travel/Tourism, Contracting, and Tours and Activities
  • Proven experience in building new and existing supplier relationships, with extensive network in the B2B travel industry regionally
  • Target and revenue-driven, analytical, and able to work well in a startup environment
  • Able to think and work independently, as well as within a team, to communicate efficiently and effectively, and familiarize oneself with the local environment and practices
  • Capable of leading ad hoc projects to improve product competitiveness and support productive revenue generation efforts in the market. This can include—but not limited to—implementation of new systems, work processes and/or technologies, adoption of new initiatives, gathering of information regarding BeMyGuest’s competition in a market, etc.
  • Excellent computer skills with relevant experience in Microsoft Office
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English. Being multi-lingual will be an advantage.
  • Available to travel if required
